New 1-component print head: Additive manufacturing processes are a great alternative to classical processing techniques and aim at a constructionally optimized and cost-effective production of components. 3D printing now includes a variety of technologies that can be used in different 3D printer versions. ViscoTec uses established dosing systems with the endless piston principle specifically for 3D printing of viscous fluids and pastes. And creates with the newly developed print head new possibilities for printing 1-component viscous fluids and pastes.
The new one-component print head vipro-HEAD for 3D printing will be presented at the international trade fair “formnext” in Frankfurt, Germany. It will be available in two different sizes and is called vipro-HEAD3 or vipro-HEAD5. Due to ViscoTec’s experience in 3D printing, the print head has been specifically adapted to meet market requirements. The main new features are a stepper motor, a heating function and the optimized material feed and ventilation. In addition, a Luer-Lock or threaded connector can be optionally selected at the print head output. The print head is equipped with the reliable endless piston principle and enables a wide range of industrial fluids such as silicones, polyurethanes, waxes and ceramics to be printed with highest precision.
At “formnext” trade fair from November 14th to 17th you can see the new product live in Hall 3.0, Booth G35. Felix Gruber, Business Development Manager 3D, will also give a presentation on the topic of “3D Printing of Viscous Fluids” in Hall 3.1 – B10 on November 15th from 11.30 a.m. to 11.45 a.m.
You can find further information about our 3D print heads in our brochure.
